Embedded Linux developer (f/m/d)

We are looking for a motivated Embedded Linux developer to implement our product on Linux based edge devices. We rely on the latest technologies and open source software, such as Docker, Kubernetes, Balena OS.

Your tasks

• You take ownership in the entire embedded Linux software development domain
• You integrate new IoT gateways into our product based on Yocto Linux
• You design and implement container-based software solutions for embedded Linux systems
• You select appropriate architectures and solution components
• You independently develop solutions – from initial concept to production-ready deployment
• You estimate and validate development efforts
• You create and maintain architecture and software documentation
• You collaborate closely with all team members
• You support the analysis and resolution of customer issues

You should bring

• Several years of experience in embedded software development, ideally in an IoT environment
• Hands-on experience with embedded Linux gateways (Yocto)
• Strong programming skills in Python as well as C/C++
• Structured and goal-oriented working style, from ideation to successful delivery
• Passion for new technologies such as IoT and connectivity
• Technologies & Skills: Linux, Yocto, Balena, Embedded Linux, Docker, Embedded Security, Networking
• Experience with hardware architectures such as ARM and x86
• Experience with hardware architectures such as ARM and x86
• Good German and excellent English skills

Nice to have's

• Experience with IoT architectures
• Background in the mechanical engineering industry or an industrial environment
• Experience in startups, agencies, or dynamic project environments
